Domestic market increased by 72 per cent
Norwegian camping sites had 258 000 overnight stays in March 2002, 96 000 or 59 per cent more than in March 2001. Domestic traffic increased 72 per cent while the total business from abroad decreased 4 per cent. One possible reason for the increase is that Easter this year was in March and in April last year.
Compared with March 2001, Great Britain increased, while Sweden, Denmark and Germany decreased.
So far in 2002
