Fewer passengers on cruise

132 604 passengers travelled with Hurtigruten the 2nd quarter this year, which is 5 209 passengers or 3.8 per cent less than last year. This is due to a decrease of 7.4 per cent on southbound route.

Hurtigruten carried 62 409 passengers southbound during the 2nd quarter this year, compared to 67 431 passengers same period last year. Corresponding numbers northbound for the 2nd quarter this year was 70 195 passengers, slightly changed from the 2nd quarter last year. Travellers on northbound route comprised 52.9 per cent of all travellers the 2nd quarter this year, which is the same as in the 2nd quarter last year.
