172 237 passengers travelled by the Coastal Voyage in the 2nd quarter this year, an increase of 2.5 per cent compared with the 2nd quarter last year. The passengers were evenly divided on the north- and southbound route, approximately 86 000 each way.

In April 46 736 passengers travelled by the Coastal Voyage, an increase of 15 per cent or 6 062 passengers compared with April last year. The increase in the number of passengers was split on north- and southbound route correspondingly with 3 222 and 2 840 passengers.

The number of passengers in May was almost unchanged from last year but in June the number of passengers decreased by 1 500.

257 741 passengers travelled by the Coastal Voyage in the first half of 2003, compared with 260 005 first half 2002.
