More overnight stays in March
Norwegian holiday dwellings had 36 000 overnight stays in March 2001, against 33 000 in March last year. Both the foreign and the domestic market increased.
Compared with March 2000, Denmark had a decrease, while Sweden increased.
So far in 2001
business from abroad decreased and the domestic market increased.
Increased capacity
In March 2001, 130 establishments were open with a total of 1 087 cabins/room. The corresponding figures for March 2000 were 116 establishments and 974 cabins/rooms.
