Increase in May

Norwegian holiday dwellings had 26 000 overnight stays in May 2001, 4 000 or 16 per cent more than in May 2000. Business from abroad and the domestic market increased.

 

Compared with May 2000, all the largest foreign markets increased.

So far in 2001

Increased capacity

In May 2001, 178 establishments were open with a total of 1 337 cabins/room. The corresponding figures for May 2000 were 147 establishments and 1 117 cabins/rooms.
