Increase for holiday dwellings
Norwegian holiday dwellings had 10 000 overnight stays in November 2001, 10 per cent more than in November 2000. Business from abroad increased 60 per cent and the domestic market increased 3 per cent.
Compared with November 2000, the largest foreign markets, Germany, Sweden and Denmark increased, while Netherlands decreased.
So far in 2001
both business from abroad and the domestic market have increased.
Increased capacity
In November 2001, 108 establishments were open with a total of 924 cabins/room. The corresponding figures for November 2000 were 105 establishments and 852 cabins/rooms.
