Business almost as usual
Norwegian holiday dwellings had 33 000 overnight stays in February 2002, about the same number as last year. Business from abroad decreased while the domestic market increased.
Compared with February 2001, the largest foreign markets, Denmark, had a decrease, while Sweden increased.
Increased cabins/rooms
In February 2002, 117 establishments were open with a total of 1 038 cabins/room. The corresponding figures for February 2001 were 119 establishments and 1 016 cabins/rooms.
