Slight decrease in number of tourists
In the first quarter of 2006, 1.9 millions Norwegians aged 16-79, went on trips involving at least one overnight stay. This is a decrease of 5 per cent compared with the first quarter of 2005. 56 per cent of the Norwegian inhabitants in the relevant age group went on a trip during the first quarter of 2006.
Revised figures for 4th quarter 2005
The figures for the 4t h quarter has been revised, see tables 6-10. It is the figures concerning holidays with more than 4 nights stay that has been revised. In effect, some of the developments described in the article following the figures, is inaccurate.
