Continued growth for air transport
Turnover in the industry section ‘Air transport’ increased by 17.4 per cent in the third quarter this year compared with the same quarter of 2013.

The preliminary figures for the third quarter this year show that turnover for most of the divisions under ‘Air Transport’ continued to grow. Likewise, ‘Water transport’ had a turnover growth of 9.1 per cent from the third quarter of 2013 to the third quarter this year.
The total index for ‘Land transport and transport via pipelines‘ was 118.1 in the third quarter of 2014, which is an increase of 4.7 per cent compared with the same quarter in 2013. Moreover, the index for ‘Warehousing and support activities for transportation’ grew 2.6 per cent from the third quarter of 2013 to the same period in 2014.
Turnover growth for information and communication
The industry section ‘Information and communication’ had a turnover growth of 8.0 per cent from the third quarter of 2013 to the third quarter of 2014. The industry division ‘Telecommunications’ had an increase in turnover of 5.8 per cent, while the industry division ‘Information service activities’ increased its turnover by 9.7 per cent.
Moderate growth in accommodation and food and beverage service activities
The turnover index for the industry section ‘Accommodation and food service activities’ was 136,9 at the end of the third quarter of 2014. The industry division ‘Accommodation’ had an increase of 3.0 per cent, while ‘food and beverage service activities’ had an increase of 6.9 per cent.
