Drop in turnover for publishing activities
The turnover for the division ‘Publishing activities’ decreased by 3.2 per cent in the third quarter of 2015 compared with same quarter in 2014.

The preliminary figures for the second quarter this year show that the turnover developed differently for the two groups that constitute the division. The group ‘ Publishing of books, periodicals and other publishing activities’ had a decrease in turnover of 5.6 per cent, while the group ‘Software publishing’ saw a slight increase of 0.4 per cent.
Drop in turnover for land transport and transport via pipelines
The division ‘Land transport and transport via pipelines’ experienced a drop in turnover. The turnover went down by 1.0 per cent in the third quarter of 2014 compared with the third quarter of 2015. The turnover for the group ‘Transport via pipelines’ saw a particular decrease in this period.
Growth for water transport and air transport
The firms within the division ‘Water transport’ saw an increase in turnover of 12.6 per cent in the third quarter of 2015 compared with the same quarter last year.
Turnover for companies within the division ‘Air transport’ increased by 3.5 per cent in the same period.
Continued growth in accommodation and food and beverage service activities
The turnover index continued to grow for the section ‘Accommodation and food service activities’ in the third quarter of 2015 compared with the same quarter last year. The turnover for the division ‘Accommodation’ increased by 5.3 per cent, while the turnover for the division ‘Food and beverage service activities’ increased by 5.9 per cent.
