Considerable growth in restaurants
Restaurants increased their turnover by 5.7 per cent from NOK 30 billion to NOK 31 billion in 2013.

The industry division food and beverage service activities employed 62 600 persons in 2013. Turnover grew by 6.9 per cent to NOK 43 billion over the same period.
The 2 900 enterprises in the industry division accommodation employed 29 000 persons in 2013, 2.8 per cent more than in 2012. Turnover grew by 3.6 per cent to NOK 25.3 billion in 2013.
