The figures for 2015 were corrected on 13 March 2019. The reason for the correction was the introduction of a new method and additional editing of the data material.

The survey’s populationOpen and readClose
The population of vans and small lorries in 2014/2015 was made up of 4 per cent small lorries, 75 per cent small vans and combined vehicles and 20 per cent large vans and combined vehicles. In 2008, the corresponding distribution was 7 per cent small lorries, 76 per cent of small vans and combined vehicles and 17 per cent large vans and combined vehicles. Small vans and combined vehicles have a carrying capacity below 1 tonne, while large vans and combined vehicles and small lories can carry up to 3.5 tonnes. The population of 2014/2015 included about 14 000 more small vans and combined vehicles, 18 000 more large vans and combined vehicles and 10 000 fewer small lorries compared to the population of 2008.
Oslo city centreOpen and readClose
Statistics Norway did not define "Oslo city centre" explicitly, such as for within beltway 1, because it would have been very difficult for the owners of vans and small lorries to distinguish between transport within and outside this limit. In the reporting, considerable discretion could therefore be exercised in the distribution of transport activity between the whole of Oslo and "Oslo city centre".
