A considerable rise in export price of fresh salmon

In the period February 25th – March 3rd the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 65.65 per kilo, up 9.4 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 15 192 tonnes in the period February 25th – March 3rd. This is 11.2 per cent less than in the previous week, February 18th – February 24th, when exported volume was 17 103 tonnes.

Norway exported 353 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 58.95 per kilo in the period February 25th – March 3rd.
