A considerable rise in export price of fresh salmon

In the period May 11th – May 17th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 59.17 per kilo, up 8.3 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 16 824 tonnes in the period May 11th – May 17th. This is 5.6 per cent more than in the previous week, May 4th – May 10th, when exported volume was 15 927 tonnes.

Norway exported 238 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 58.67 per kilo in the period May 11th – May 17th.
