A considerable rise in export price of fresh salmon

In the period December 21st – December 27th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 50.22 per kilo, up 8.6 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 14 127 tonnes in the period December 21st – December 27th. This is 43.1 per cent less than in the previous week, December 14th – December 20th, when exported volume was 24 827 tonnes. Note that periods including Christmas normally show lower export volumes.

Norway exported 66 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 53,70 per kilo in the period December 21st – December 27th.
