A large increase in export price of fresh salmon

In the period from April 30th – May 6th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 71.16 per kilo, up 6.5 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 13 735 tonnes in the period April 30th – May 6th. This is 5.3 per cent less than in the previous week, April 23rd – April 29th, when exported volume was 14 510 tonnes.

Norway exported 310 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 56.87 per kilo in the period April 30th – May 6th.
