A large increase in export price of fresh salmon

In the period December 9th – December 15th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 68.76 per kilo, up 7.9 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 22 556 tonnes in the period December 9th – December 15th. This is 10,6 per cent more than in the previous week, December 2nd – December 8th, when exported volume was 20 399 tonnes.

Norway exported 512 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 58.60 per kilo in the period December 9th – December 15th.
