A large increase in export price of fresh salmon

In the period February 24th – March 1st the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 72.80 per kilo, up 6.4 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 16 153 tonnes in the period February 24th – March 1st. This is 4.2 per cent more than in the previous week, February 17th – February 23rd, when exported volume was 15 504 tonnes.

Norway exported 420 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 60.35 per kilo in the period February 24th – March 1st.
