A large increase in export price of fresh salmon

In the period June 1st – June 7th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 69.23 per kilo, up 7.7 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 13 442 tonnes in the period June 1st – June 7th. This is 17.7 per cent lower than in the previous week, May 25th – May 31st, when exported volume was 16 342 tonnes.

Norway exported 359 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 59.44 per kilo in the period June 1st – June 7th.
