A large increase in export price of fresh salmon

In the period April 26th – May 2nd the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 65.74 per kilo, up 7.5 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 14 629 tonnes in the period April 26th – May 2nd. This is 9.9 per cent less than in the previous week, April 19th– April 25th, when exported volume was 16 234 tonnes.

Norway exported 552 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 56.74 per kilo in the period April 26th – May 2nd.
