A large increase in salmon export price

In the period from May 8th – May 14th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 70.18 per kilo. This is an increase of 6.7 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 14 305 tonnes in the period May 8th – May 14th. This is 18.2 per cent more than in the previous week, May 1st –7th, when exported volume was 12 105 tonnes.

Norway exported 534 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 61.55 per kilo in the period May 8th – May 14th.
