A small decrease in export price of fresh salmon

In the period from April 2nd – April 8th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 71.50 per kilo, down 0.3 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 13 953 tonnes in the period April 2nd – April 8th. This is 22.1 per cent more than in the previous week, March 26th – April 1st, when exported volume was 11 423 tonnes. The large increase is due to March 26th – April 1st being Easter week.

Norway exported 187 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 50.36 per kilo in the period April 2nd – April 8th.
