A substantial rise in export price of fresh salmon

In the period March 1st – March 7th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 63.31 per kilo, up 14.1 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 17 969 tonnes in the period March 1st – March 7th. This is 7.3 per cent more than in the previous week, February 22nd – February 28th, when exported volume was 16 754 tonnes.

Norway exported 447 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 51.40 per kilo in the period March 1st – March 7th.
