Decrease in export price of fresh salmon

In the period April 22nd – April 28th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 69.53 per kilo, down 2.7 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 16 037 tonnes in the period April 22nd – April 28th. This is 28.3 per cent more than in the previous week, April 15th – April 21st, when exported volume was 12 499 tonnes. The large increase is due to April 15th – April 21st being Easter week.

Norway exported 255 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 62.63 per kilo in the period April 22nd – April 28th.
