Decrease in export price of fresh salmon

In the period January 6th – January 12th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 77.63 per kilo, down 0.7 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 16 141 tonnes in the period January 6th – January 12th. This is 43.5 per cent more than in the previous week, December 30th – January 5th, when exported volume was 11 249 tonnes. Note that weeks including Christmas and New Year normally show lower export volumes. 

Norway exported 474 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 58.03 per kilo in the period January 6th – January 12th.
