Drop in export price of fresh salmon

In the period May 20th – May 26th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 61.33 per kilo, down 6.3 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 18 992 tonnes in the period May 20th – May 26th. This is 17.8 per cent more than in the previous week, May 13th – May 19th, when exported volume was 16 127 tonnes.

Norway exported 302 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 63.02 per kilo in the period May 20th – May 26th.
