Drop in export price of fresh salmon

In the period January 27th – February 2nd the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 70.25 per kilo, down 7.0 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 16 259 tonnes in the period January 27th – February 2nd. This is 1.4 per cent more than in the previous week, January 20th – January 26th, when exported volume was 16 034 tonnes.

Norway exported 396 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 52.85 per kilo in the period January 27th – February 2nd.
