Drop in export price of fresh salmon

In the period May 24th – May 30th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 63.53 per kilo, down 7.2 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 15 977 tonnes in the period May 24th – May 30th. This is 8.3 per cent more than in the previous week, May 17th – May 23rd, when exported volume was 14 746 tonnes.

Norway exported 403 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 57.07 per kilo in the period May 24th – May 30th.
