Fall in export price of fresh salmon

In the period August 24th – August 30th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 49.25 per kilo, down 6.4 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 18 760 tonnes in the period August 24th – August 30th. This is 0.9 per cent less than in the previous week, August 17th – August 23rd, when exported volume was 18 922 tonnes.

Norway exported 380 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 57.45 per kilo in the period August 24th – August 30th.
