Increase in export price of fresh salmon

In the period December 23rd – December 29th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 77.04 per kilo, up 2.7 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 8 714 tonnes in the period December 23rd – December 29th. This is 57,2 per cent less than in the previous week, December 16th – December 22nd, when exported volume was 20 352 tonnes. Note that weeks including Christmas and New Year normally show lower export volumes.

Norway exported 93 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 55.82 per kilo in the period December 23rd – December 29th.

There are no figures attached to the salmon statistics publication this week.
