Increase in export price of fresh salmon

In the period August 17th – August 23rd the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 52.61 per kilo, up 1.8 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 18 922 tonnes in the period August 17th – August 23rd. This is 5.7 per cent more than in the previous week, August 10th – August 16th, when exported volume was 17 910 tonnes.

Norway exported 300 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 56.03 per kilo in the period August 17th – August 23rd.
