Major decrease in export price of fresh salmon

In the period, July 22nd – July 28th export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 56.16 per kilo, down 6.7 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 18 839 tonnes in the period July 22nd – July 28th. This is 12.4 per cent more than in the previous week, July 15th – July 21st, when exported volume was 16 754 tonnes.

Norway exported 262 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 63.59 per kilo in the period July 22nd – July 28th.
