Major drop in export price of fresh salmon

In the period February 3rd – February 9th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 65.56 per kilo, down 6.7 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 15 452 tonnes in the period February 3rd – February 9th. This is 5.0 per cent less than in the previous week, January 27th – February 2nd, when exported volume was 16 259 tonnes.

Norway exported 269 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 57.41 per kilo in the period February 3rd – February 9th.
