Major increase in export price of fresh salmon

In the period, April 15th – April 21st the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 71,45 per kilo, up 6.1 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 12 499 tonnes in the period April 15th – April 21st. This is 37.2 per cent less than in the previous week, April 8th – April 14th., when exported volume was 19 916 tonnes. Lower volume and higher prices are common during Easter period.

Norway exported 174 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 65.98 per kilo in the period April 15th – April 21st.
