Substantial rise in export price of fresh salmon

In the period May 18th – May 24th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 65.46 per kilo, up 10.6 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 15 417 tonnes in the period May 18th – May 24th. This is 8.4 per cent less than in the previous week, May 11th – May 17th, when exported volume was 16 824 tonnes.

Norway exported 261 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 52.53 per kilo in the period May 18th – May 24th.
