Little change in external debt
Norway's external debt amounted to NOK 3 773 billion at the end of the 3rd quarter of 2012. This is an increase of NOK 2.5 billion from the previous quarter.
The external debt positionshows the gross debt for the main institutional sectors, with the exception of direct investments, which is netted. Shares and other equity are not included in the statistics. Published figures for external debt are in accordance with the International Monetary Fund’s definition. |
