Moderate increase in foreign debt in 2012
Norway's external debt amounted to NOK 3670 billion at the end of the 4th quarter of 2012. This is an increase of NOK 102 billion from the same period in 2011.Banks, non-financial corporations, households and the government all contributed to the growth.
