Increase in export prices of fresh salmon

In the period from 29 March to 4 April, the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 38.46 per kilo. This is an increase of 9.5 per cent from the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 7 751 tonnes in the period from 29 March to 4 April, a decrease of 41.8 per cent from the period 22 March to 28 March. Like in previous years, the salmon export was low in Easter.

Norway exported 383 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 37.22 per kilo in the period from 29 March to 4 April.
