Unchanged export prices of fresh salmon

In the period from 30 April to 6 May, the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 29.11 per kilo. This is the same as in the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 13 019 tonnes in the period from 30 April to 6 May, a decrease of 15.3 per cent from the period 23 April to 29 April.

Norway exported 400 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 31.42 per kilo in the period from 30 April to 6 May.

Due to changes in the Norwegian customs nomenclature 2012 the selected commodity numbers for fresh salmon are 03.02.1411 and 03.02.1419 and frozen salmon 03.03.1311 and 03.03.1319. In 2011 the commodity numbers were 03.02.1201, 03.02.1202, 03.03.2201 and 03.03.2202.
