Export price of fresh salmon NOK 29.06 per kilo

In the period from 7 May to 13 May, the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 29.06 per kilo. This is a decline of 0.2 per cent from the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 16 526 tonnes in the period from 7 May to 13 May, an increase of 26.9 per cent from the period 30 April to 6 May.

Norway exported 665 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 28.90 per kilo in the period from 7 May to 13 May.

Due to changes in the Norwegian customs nomenclature 2012 the selected commodity numbers for fresh salmon are 03.02.1411 and 03.02.1419 and frozen salmon 03.03.1311 and 03.03.1319. In 2011 the commodity numbers were 03.02.1201, 03.02.1202, 03.03.2201 and 03.03.2202.
