Decrease in export prices of fresh salmon

In the period from 18 April to 24 April, the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 43.08 per kilo. This is a decrease of 1.2 per cent from the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 8 130 tonnes in the period from 18 April to 24 April, a decrease of 40.9 per cent from the period 11 April to 17 April. Like in previous years, the salmon export was low in Easter.

Norway exported 299 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 44.00 per kilo in the period from 18 April to 24 April.
