Decrease in export prices of fresh salmon

In the period from 25 April to 1 May, the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 42.71 per kilo. This is a decrease of 0.9 per cent from the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 9 888 tonnes in the period from 25 April to 1 May, an increase of 21.6 per cent from the period 18 April to 24 April. Like in previous years, the salmon export was low in Easter.

Norway exported 222 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 41.06 per kilo in the period from 25 April to 1 May.
