Decline in export prices of fresh salmon

In the period from 18 March to 24 March, the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 36.02 per kilo. This is a decrease of 4.5 per cent from the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 18 376 tonnes in the period from 18 March to 24 March, an increase of 15.6 per cent from the period 11 March to 17 March. Larger export quantities is usual for the week before Easter

Norway exported 433 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 38.09 per kilo in the period from 18 March to 24 March.
