A large increase in export price of fresh salmon

In the period from 14 April to 20 April, the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 47.40 per kilo. This is an increase of 6.9 per cent from the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 12 057 tonnes in the period from 14 April to 20 April, a decrease of 38.9 per cent from the period 7 April to 13 April. Like in previous years, the salmon export was low in Easter week.

Norway exported 212 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 46.49 per kilo in the period from 14 April to 20 April.
