Decline in export price of fresh salmon

In the period from 21 April to 27 April, the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 46.29 per kilo. This is a decrease of 2.3 per cent from the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 14 614 tonnes in the period from 21 April to 27 April, a considerable rise of 21.2 per cent from the period 14 April to 20 April. Like in previous years, the salmon export was low in Easter week.

Norway exported 174 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 46.09 per kilo in the period from 21 April to 27 April.
