Substantial rise in salmon export price

In the period from 2 February – 8 February the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 43.43 per kilo. This is a rise of 9.2 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 14 693 tonnes in the period 2 February – 8 February, down 0.8 per cent compared to the period 26 January – 1 February.

Norway exported 646 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 45.46 per kilo in the period 2 February – 8 February.
