Small decrease in salmon export price

In the period from 6 April – 12 April the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 42.24 per kilo. This is a small decrease of 0.1 per cent, compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 15 764 tonnes in the period 6 April – 12 April, down 28,8 per cent compared to the period 30 March – 5 April. The large increase in volume was caused by small exports during Easter.

Norway exported 292 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 43.79 per kilo in the period 6 April – 12 April.
