Decline in salmon export price

In the period from 4 May – 10 May the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 36.99 per kilo. This a decrease of 5.8 per cent, compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 17 602 tonnes in the period 4 May – 10 May, up 8.6 per cent compared to the period 27 April – 3 May.

Norway exported 397 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 42.37 per kilo in the period 4 May – 10 May.
