Salmon export price continues to drop

In the period from 24 August – 30 August the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 39.06 per kilo. This is a fall of 6.4 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 17 353 tonnes in the period 24 August – 30 August, up 2.3 per cent compared to the period 17 August – 23 August.

Norway exported 340 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 46.60 per kilo in the period 24 August – 30 August.
