A large increase in salmon export price

In the period from 5 October – 11 October the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 43.09 per kilo. This is a rise of 7.5 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 18 604 tonnes in the period 5 October – 11 October, virtually unchanged compared to the period 28 September – 4 October when 18 598 tonnes were exported.

Norway exported 598 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 43.16 per kilo in the period 5 October – 11 October.
